The personal data that have been voluntarily provided by the users of our website, and our practices regarding personal data obtained from other sources, such as written or telephone communications or the information we have when you visit our accommodation, are used by our company in order for users to have direct and meaningful communication with our company, to provide them with answers to specific questions they ask and finally to serve and execute room reservations. The information collected by our business through our website cookies is intended to measure the number of visits to our website, to determine customer requirements and to facilitate transactions with the business. Our business does not distribute to any other organization or partner the email addresses, or any other information regarding our users and customers.

Please note that this policy does not apply to the processing of personal data that fall under and belong to the sphere of responsibility of third parties, such as airlines, car rental companies and other service providers, such as companies that organize or offer packages of offers, commercial partners, etc.

What is the Personal Data we collect and why.

“Personal Data” is defined as any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”). It does not include anonymous information.

In order to make room reservations, but also to ensure that we can contact you in order to inform you about issues related to your reservations and our offers, it is necessary to disclose certain personal data, such as your full name, address (sender and recipient), telephone number, e-mail address and, in case of payment by credit card, the details of the latter. Your credit card is used only for the specific transaction you have requested. Your credit card details are stored with the user’s details until the date of your departure from the hotel. After payment of your stay and your departure, your credit card details are deleted.

You may also be asked for the names of your travelling companions and any preferences relating to your stay.

We further collect personal information when you contact mylos apartments in various ways such as subscribing to our accommodation newsletters or through the contact form we provide. If you follow this option, you will be asked for your name and email address, along with the text of any message you choose to include. By using this feature, you grant us the right to register and use your name and email address for contact purposes in order to keep you informed about issues related to your requests and to learn about our news and offers.

However, we also receive information about you from other sources. These include business partners, such as travel agencies or other websites. Anything we receive from these sources may be combined with the information you have provided us with. Using some of them, you give your booking details to our business partner, who then passes them on to us. We also use third party provider services to facilitate guest payments at the property. These service providers share payment details so that we can manage your reservations and ensure that everything works smoothly for you.

If a refund is requested for your booking either by you or by the holder of the credit card used to make your booking, we may need to share some details of the booking with the payment service provider and the relevant financial institution in order to process the refund. This may include a copy of your booking confirmation or the IP address from which your booking was made. In addition, we may share information with relevant financial institutions where we consider it necessary for fraud prevention and detection purposes.

We do NOT collect special categories of your personal data, namely data “revealing racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs or trade union membership, as well as genetic data, biometric data for the purpose of unambiguous identification of a person, data concerning health or data concerning the sex life of a natural person or sexual orientation” (Article 9(1)(b) of the GDPR). 1 GDPR/GDPR) or data relating to criminal convictions and offences (Article 10 GDPR/GDPR).

The transmission of your data to third parties is generally excluded.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the data is processed by processors on our behalf. These are carefully selected each time, controlled by us and contractually bound in accordance with Article 28 GDPR. In addition, we may be required to transmit extracts of your request to contractors for the purpose of processing your request. These may be auditors and professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, bank) and/or companies related to the transfer of products, professional service providers such as marketing, advertising and support services, optimization and web hosting companies, payment verification services, the Cybercrime Department, Consumer Protection Services and e-Fraud Prevention Services, for cases of malicious use, social media if you choose to link your account. If the transfer of your personal data is required in an individual case, we will inform you of this in order to obtain your consent. We do NOT transfer your personal data to recipients outside the European Union.

We have effectively implemented, both at the time of determining the means of processing and at the time of processing, appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to implement data protection principles and incorporate the necessary safeguards into the processing in a way that meets the requirements of the GDPR and protects your rights. They also do not guarantee that the pages, services, options and contents will be provided without interruption, without errors, that errors will be corrected or that answers will be given to all questions raised. Similarly, it does not guarantee that the servers through which the content is made available to visitors/users are provided free of “viruses” or other harmful components. The cost of any corrections or services is borne by the visitor / user and in no case mylos apartments.
